VIDEO: First Digital’s 2019 Financial Reality Fair at Gresham High School

First Digital recently hosted a Bite of Reality at Gresham High School, along with the help of community volunteers. This was our first time having a financial reality fair at GHS, and it was a great day!

What’s a Financial Reality Fair?

Students had the chance to experience some of the real-life financial challenges they will face after graduation. They received a sample career and starting salary, and they visited various booths to buy basics like housing and utilities, as well as temptations like entertainment and travel packages. Throughout the day, they met with financial counselors to review how well they were living within their budget.
